Sunny Days on the Beach

Two weekends ago we had the most beautiful weather.  It was just about 75 degrees, but the sun felt so close and so warm.  We spent the morning gardening and then after Jayelle's nap we headed out to Portobello beach to enjoy the sun.  Jayelle really enjoyed picking up seashells, eating an ice cream cone and walking in the waves.  The water was actually pretty warm.  I had not seen the beach so packed with people.  Most people we walking the boardwalk and enjoying fries and ice cream.   The next day I had a bunch of people tell me that they did not like that hot of weather, but I couldn't get enough! I did take a belly picture, as you can see the belly bump is coming right along.  I was 25 weeks at the time.  The baby is developing wonderfully.  I am feeling lots of movement and Dave and Jaye have felt it too!  Jayelle likes to point to my belly and say "baby" and then she pulls up her shirt and says "baby."  It is cute how her little mind is tries to grasp this concept.  I am feeling really well, however after my morning of gardening I came down with a terrible allergic reaction and broke out with a really itchy rash on my arms and neck.  I went to the doctor and was given a medicinal cream to remove the itching.  The rash took about a week to stop itching. So glad that is gone!  I am loving summer here. . .there is still a bit of daylight at almost 11pm and the sun is rising just before 4am.
