A quick note to say that Everett's eye operation went well. Thank you for the prayers. I am exhausted but I thought I would post a couple photos of the day and just say I am feeling really blessed in the way God carried us through this time. Everett was very brave and did not cry at all. I did tear up after he was under the anesthetic and out of the room. It was difficult to watch him just go limp and then to have to walk out of the room. But he bounced back after surgery and was able to go home in the afternoon. Please continue to pray that the eye heals perfectly and doesn't need another operation.

Prayer Update
Thank you to those that were praying for our little man's eye appointment. We are pleased in that we were given the same diagnosis as before. We are now praying for a highly competent surgeon who pushes for the surgery as soon as possible as well as a successful surgery that corrects his eye functioning.

Eye Appoinment
Please pray for our sweet Everett as he will have his eyes checked out next week. At this point I have no idea how to pray except for our little boy to be able to have normal eye functioning. Thank you. One a similar note, here are a couple photos of our trip to Bath the other day....it was meant to be a doctor's appointment for our littlest, but turned out to be a trip that was unnecessary due to doctors not knowing protocol on PKU tests (thankfully it was one we had already done before we arrived here). So instead we took a detour home and made a drive by of some local hot spots.
Very famous Bath Architectural Building (not sure the name because we just drove by really quick to see it)
Once a Manor/Vacation home...now a nursing home...yes it is OK to leave me here to enjoy the end of my life.
View from the nursing home...see what I mean..I could sit and enjoy God's beauty all day here. Plus it was absolutely quiet and peaceful! AHH Bliss.

Final Week
Hi friends. Just a quick little prayer request...today starts the final week of the Cor Deo long program. Please be praying for the men as they meet together and wrap things up. I know my husband is going to miss meeting with the guys, and has felt very privileged and blessed to have spent so much time with men who desire to know, share, and love God more! Tomorrow is an end of the year banquet for the men and their wives. It should be fun!

ER Scare
We had a bit of a scare this morning with Jayelle. Dave knocked a couple batteries that fit into watches off the dresser and couldn't find one. He then got distracted while we were packing to go to Great-Grandpa's house and forgot to search for the other. A few minutes later Jayelle was playing by the spot he dropped the battery and he thought she might have ate the missing battery. We called poison control and they advised us to go to the ER to get a XRay. So we packed up Jaye went to the ER, and praying all the way that she had not consumed it with a sick feeling in our own stomachs. In the ER Jaye was wonderful despite missing a nap and it being so close to lunch time. I asked the ER doctor if I could give Jayelle water, but he said no because if she did have a battery insider her little body it would be stuck in her esophagus which meant surgery. This of course made our hearts skip a beat! In the Xray, Jayelle had to lay flat on the table while I held her arms and feet. She did wonderfully. . .no rolling at all! After that we remained another 5mins. Waiting for the results as calm as we could. And we are extremely happy to report our daughter is battery free! Praise the Lord!
