Answered Prayer

Last week after library reading group Jayelle and I had to walk home because her stroller had a popped tire. On the way home there is a park and Jaye decided to take a detour to play. It was a beautiful day to play so I allowed her to wander in that direction. At the park our neighbor was playing with his 2 year old grandson and Jaye enjoyed running around with him as we chatted. Then another gal with two children came to play. Her son came up to me and asked me my name. This struck up a conversation between the mother and I, which led to her telling me she had just came from a Mommy-toddler group at the community center (which is attached to the park). She told me to stop in the following Friday. So today Jayelle and I stopped in to play, and were very pleased. There was lots of children to play with, moms to chat with, and snacks for the kids and drinks for the moms. The ladies were very welcoming and even invited me to an outing they were going to have the following Monday to a kids trampoline center. Another wonderful thing was that the group is so very close to home, meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and it is cheap (only about 2 dollars per day)! When Jayelle's stroller broke I viewed it as a hassle but come to find out it was quickly mended at a local bike shop and it became a blessing after all! I have been praying for a playgroup such as this for a long time (even in Oregon), and God has answered my prayers. You never know who you will meet, and what wonderful things will become of it! Thanks be to God who heard my prayer!
