Portobello

On Friday it was warm and beautiful out so I decided to be adventurous and find the town of Portobello which is along the sea. Without a map we headed out, and found it very easily. And I fell in love with the cute little seatown. Portobello is just a half hour walk from our house, and it is a beautiful walk with a creek, a duck pond and a playground along the way. The welcome sign for Portobello read: "Scotland's Seaside" and it was a wonderful seaside at that! There is a great boardwalk, fun sandy beaches with all the seashells you could ever want and little cafes to enjoy the sights! Below are some pics of Jayelle enjoying our beach adventure. . .she kept saying "Wata Wata Wata," as she looked at the sea! There is also a small pic of a fun park for kids along the boardwalk.
