David had a very exciting time visiting this beautiful city. David went with our friend Ron and another David to encourage and support a family of American missionaries who are planting a church which consist of people from a "closed country." We are celebrating what God is doing in the lives of these people. One highlight was that David was able to pray over a man who was deeply burdened for his family members who have not responded to the gospel and are still living in his home country. Many of the people said they would never want to move back to the oppression of their country except for the fact they have family members who need to hear the good news of Jesus. Please be praying for these people to be the light to their families and country, and also please be praying for the family whom the guys went to encourage...that their hearts would be lifted up and that they would be made afresh in the love of Christ! The guys were able to do a bit of church history site seeing...with David and Ron you can imagine the delight in their eyes! Here are a few pictures!
