41 and Counting

Today is 41 weeks (a week overdue).  Jayelle was seven days overdue on her day of birth.  My children love to be fashionably late.  So many people are wondering about how I am doing,.  It is a little easier to just type a blog than to respond to all the inquiries.  Hopefully this is sufficient.  Physically I am feeling very good.  I am getting really good sleep, and have pretty good energy.  Emotionally I am getting too anxious.  Prayers for patience have been on my heart lately.  I am just not good with idle time.  Thank you to those who have been asking after me and the little boy.   I am really feeling loved by you all! All I can say is that things are great, and he is still moving and growing.  As for the next step:  first the midwife will do a membrane sweep and then around day 12 of being over due date they will induce. As a family we are doing really well, and have been going on some wonderful walks! (pictures to come in the future).  Jayelle said the other to me, "Mommy I want a baby." It was pretty sweet, but we think she is getting an idea that something new is about to happen because she keeps saying to Dave, "No Mommy do it."  Which is a bit of a role reversal because lately she had been Daddy's girl.  On a completely different subject, Jayelle's radiator has been replaced!
