This past week we took a train ride down for a two night mini vacation to London where we met up with Dave's Mom and Donovan. It was our first trip to London and we had a great time! We went to the British Museum and were in awe of all the artifacts. . .especially the Roman and Egyptian sections. We took the Big Bus Tour for a day and saw all the big hot spots of London and with that bus ticket we were able to get onto the river boat tour too. We were very close to attending a service at Westminster Abbey, but Jayelle awoke up from her nap just as the service was to begin and started crying so we had to leave. At least we were able to see inside! I think the highlight of the trip for Jayelle was the TV in the room (we don't have a TV). We also never made it all the way to Buckingham Palace, but we did start the walk down the street before deciding it was going to be too long of a journey and too hot for Jayelle just before dinner time.
