Prayer With Jaye

Not too long ago when Dave or I would try to pray before dinner Jayelle would start crying very loudly and it would last the entire prayer. . .we think it was because she wanted to eat immediately. Well lately we have been praying by holding hands before our meals and she has been very excited about that and prayers before our meals. Yesterday in the middle of dinner Jayelle turned to Dave and I and said "Hands" (which meant lets hold hands). She then proceeded to bow her head. . .so I bowed my head, and Dave remained looking at her. She turned to Dave and said "Daddy Head" (she was waiting for Dave to bow his head before she would begin her prayer.) She then very softly said a prayer (indistinguishable to Dave and I, but I am sure it was so sweet to God) and then said "Amen." It was a beautiful moment with my sweet daughter!
